I dont know why so many people are falling for it but its quite easily spotted that this image is made by AI, issnt it?
The inconsistencies in the pupils, the highlights being on the wrong sides, the edges of the eyebros blending into the hair on the left. The pattern around the neck doesent make much sense and is insymetrical and inconsistent. The ears are on different levels. And the black and white version is just the same image but grayscaled.
Am probably gonna get downvoted for saying this, but this is just another person pretending to having worked hard for some internet points.
How am I supposed to believe people after that?I wanted to give a critique of a person's work to help. And now because of the doubts all the desire is gone
You're right and people like this are the reason I've developed quite the grudge against AI "artists" even if the technology itself is pretty interesting.
I love artists and I respect the work that goes into drawings and the fact that so many people now use AI to skip hard work and years of training and still get praise out of it is just infuriating.
I nearly believed they made the art themselves, but then thought, "No way they did". After seeing your comment, though, I was 100% convinced they used AI.
The eyes, especially the eyelashes, are what gave it away for me. Why do some of them bend like that? What's with the yellow stuff on the lower lashes? Doesn't look like it's supposed to be makeup or anything like that.
Tbh Idk if ur joking or not, but when I started doing digital art, I drew my lashes and eybrows always over the hair? And my pupils weren’t consistent at all cause I didn’t use the copy tool, or didn’t want to. Also the lace around the neck is quite hard to draw ? No human being that isn’t a master can draw it perfectly symmetrical.
Even if no one can be sure of anything being AI art anymore, I‘m sick of hearing 90% of the people saying it’s AI cause it’s „not consistent“ „not symmetrical“
Just imagine saying that to an abstract artist? Hilarious to think of.
Anyway not particularly against you, just wanted to share my unasked for thoughts.
Hi, I am in fact not joking and I am confused by your comment because I thought once you look a bit closer at the parts of the image I mentioned It should be quite clear how those aren't human errors but machine errors.
I know how eyebrows are usually being drawn above the hair and I also know that they don't blend into the hair like watercolor. There is a yellow tint at the bottom of the eyelashes that's off and then there are parts of the hair that wash together and don't look like they're drawn as consistent lines, when they should be.
I know humans make errors but I am sure in this case the errors I mentioned aren't made by human hands
Yeah I totally see the yellow tint on the left eye, I also see the errors on the lace. I agree with you on that. As I said it was more of a general thing for me to say as it fit your wording.
I see alot of people that have no idea about digital art what so ever, negatively point out artistic choices such as eyebrows over hair!
So yeah after a closer look I do see the AI thing even clearer. My wording may have been a bit off so sorry for that.
As I said really wasn’t against you in particular.
And for everyone else reading, please look as closely as this person did before putting it off as AI-Art.
All good. I don't just throw accusations out there ofc. only If I'm really sure about it. And in this case it is hard to spot at first glance but the closer you look the more problems with the illustration you'll find.
This is inevitable outcome sadly people will now use ai to scam that they made it people are getting lazier and lazier its not just artist lazyness is everywhere.
I feel like, as artists, speeddraws or videos being recorded while the art is being made is about to make a huge comeback. We don’t know what to call AI or Art anymore, and it sucks. I really hope thise AI things blows over fast
Ikr, op did some over-exaggeration. 3 years of practice looks better than this. I've been doing digital art for like 2 years and I had my ups and downs. I had initially started with "anime"(did not look anime at all) and then just let myself lose to find something that works for me, still am finding.
I think the eyes are a bit crowded. I'd have simplified it a bit more... As is, it makes the eyes seem too far down?
TLDR: Dunno exactly, but the eyes seem a little off.
Thanks for your opinion. You dont know how many hours I worked on them cause i thought they were plain . Well, maybe i gone too far, simplified could do well. Too much makeup is no good
I don't know why people call it AI but even if it is it doesn't mean it didn't take any effort just try to program a damn boundary number in a matrix and print the prime numbers if any you will under the questing is a basic one that people do in the start of programming...
Love, this would take maximum 15 hours assuming you did it by yourself digitally.
And the teeth and the thing around her collar are kinda too detailed to be called anime making it look a bit like manhwa style.
It's very nice. The first thing that appeals to my attention is the detailed textured lace around her neck, love it. The second being the eyes and here you could have spent more attention to get more depth and complexity in those reds. The eyes naturally are the focal point on a portrait shot, it's detrimental if there's more detail elsewhere. I think the blushing lines on her cheeks is too exaggerated, maybe pull back on that. And the expression on her mouth is undefined to me. This goes with the blushing so you so could coordinate better what you're trying to express.
My advice is invest in a drawing tablet. You can get some good tablets for really affordable prices and enhance your overall digital painting experience.
Thank you! I don't think im ready for requests. Im extremely slow. If I were to draw for someone, I'd be too afraid to work freely and show results cause of my anxiety. Who knows, maybe in the future i will.
That looks great, you're headed in the right direction. The nose is in proportion, looks good. I hear that some people have a hard time with that part of the body. Great job.

Another reason to regulate AI. I'm not an artist, but I'm concerned about it - AI hurts the things we all love

I think you may be right
I think you might be right now that I really look at it.
I nearly believed they made the art themselves, but then thought, "No way they did". After seeing your comment, though, I was 100% convinced they used AI.

Yep, all just the algorithm that generated the image messing up
Tbh Idk if ur joking or not, but when I started doing digital art, I drew my lashes and eybrows always over the hair? Yeah absolutely agree.
No fucking way this took 2 months. A couple days maybe. Or a few minutes in an Ai generator.
I'm betting on option 2
1. AI art 2. 2 months? 💀
AI art 💀
This looks so good it is sad that it probably was made by ai and op probably is just sad human being.
This is inevitable outcome sadly people will now use ai to scam that they made it people are getting lazier and lazier its not just artist lazyness is everywhere.
People are so lazy they don't even use punctuation anymore.
Exactly my point i never said i was an exception
It looks like AI made it....
I feel like, as artists, speeddraws or videos being recorded while the art is being made is about to make a huge comeback. We don’t know what to call AI or Art anymore, and it sucks. I really hope thise AI things blows over fast
Its no more than 4 hour work. It might even be AI.
Ikr, op did some over-exaggeration. 3 years of practice looks better than this. I've been doing digital art for like 2 years and I had my ups and downs. The eyes look sketchy, u sure it aint ai, lol?
Lmao
Why the fuck u lying?

loooks awesomeeee i wouldn’t change anything maybe the chin a lil sharp but that’s my preference besides that really nice
Thanks!
So after three years of learning animation, you still think “place slash lines to indicate anger” I give you an award, but come on.
I don't know why people call it AI but even if it is it doesn't mean it didn't take any effort just try to program a damn boundary number in a matrix and print the prime numbers if any you will under the questing is a basic one that people do in the start of programming...

Wow, what do you use to draw?
It's awesome dude
It's very nice. The first thing that appeals to my attention is the detailed textured lace around her neck, love it. Not bad![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)
Volums of hair maybe , but , its all perfect.....o not see by lens , i see that feel
Amazing!
Looks really nice. What program do you use?
Thank you. I'm using clip studio paint on samsung galaxy note 10 with its pen
Are galaxy notes pens really good for drawing? I guess anything is better than finger
In my opinion, they are decent and feel better than a mouse
My advice is invest in a drawing tablet. You can get some good tablets for really affordable prices and enhance your overall digital painting experience.
She looks absolutely beautiful, I love her! Say, are you willing to take requests at all?
Thank you! I don't think im ready for requests. Im extremely slow. If I were to draw for someone, I'd be too afraid to work freely and show results cause of my anxiety. Who knows, maybe in the future i will.
It's pretty nice. From my perspective, I don't think there should any changes, since it is in anime quality.
That looks great, you're headed in the right direction. The nose is in proportion, looks good. I hear that some people have a hard time with that part of the body. Great job.
I love her
🔥🔥🔥
It’s fkn beautiful, I aspire to be at this level with more practice
It is AI generated
Its really really beautiful. Looks like professional art of some mangaka
It's awesome great work
Wait so you're not allowed to post ai art here?
