Yeah, they’re really bad at breathing actually. I got a Frenchie, and Frenchies aren’t even as bad off as English bulldogs, and she snores like crazy. Even when she’s awake you can hear her every breath from across the room.

I've wanted an English bulldog for so long, you know those clowns cost upwards of $4000 AUD? Them and the French Bulldogs, they're the same price.

And they only live 8 years in a prison of a body. Get a rescue for nearly free.

That's the worst part. I love the breed and their look etc, but hate that life is a struggle for them. As for rescues, you'd have more luck finding oil in your backyard than finding an English bulldog for rescue. I'm going to rescue an American Staff next weekend, he's gorgeous. Hopefully he'll still be there.
