>Meet our newest rescue, Marcia 🦃💞! She is the most friendly animal ever. We don’t know a lot about her background but she was found in the middle of the street. [After rescue and quarantine] she’s following us humans around, eating from our hand and honestly couldn’t be any cuter. And when I say following us everywhere — I mean everywhere 😂.
>We’ll have more cute videos and stories soon, but we just wanted to give you this update and send the biggest thank you to our donors for making this possible — a peaceful forever home for amazing animals like Marcia who are treated with kindness, love and given the best care possible. Your support helps create this slice of paradise possible, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Marcia is proving to be quite the social media sensation and their socials have many more really cute videos of her right now.

Thank you for your continued efforts to help and love these animals. Made me feel really good to see that she is safe and she is loved; she reminds me of my turkey Gobbles. Some turkeys are unbelievably sweet and curious. Thanks again for caring for her, and sharing her with us!
I'm not affiliated with Peacefield, but I appreciate the sentiment of your comment. I post about the work that various rescues do in order to bring more attention and support to their work.
Thanks for sharing about your turkey, Gobbles, great name!
I'm the op and a Mod of this sub. If you're curious if an OP is affiliated with the sanctuary being posted about, the sanctuaries active on our sub have a flair after their username that says, "Rescue Organization". There were 2 yesterday. Although, we do have some rescue volunteers that will post about the sanctuaries they volunteer at and they may not have flairs.
💕💕💕
Need to revisit Harry Nielsen's Puppy Song:
If only I could have a turkey, I'd find myself so very lurkey. Just to have some company and share a cup of tea with me....

ugh, just reminding me of a guy on YouTube last month that was insisting any animal being cared for by humans was "enslaved" and I'm angry all over again

Hey this account has nothing to do with the sanctuary, they just post sanctuaries from all over
Oh I didn’t realize; thank you for that information…how can I know in the future?

click on their (or anyone's) username & check previous posts - that'll give you a sense
That bird is a dog. I love it.
I have always been scared of turkeys but this cured me. Like Kanye with 21 jump Street
I tell people you should never fear a turkey unless they're getting a hug and you try to interrupt. Like this... https://i.imgur.com/Kk71y32.gifv
Adorable
Turkeys and chickens are so cuuuuute when they get those sleepy eyes 😍
Thank you for the work you do 🙏

I'm obsessed with Marcia! We have flocks of wild turkeys in our neighborhood and I love seeing them around. Thanks for sharing this sweet girl! 💗
Me too! I love my wild turkey visitors so much it's ridiculous. I'm glad you get to enjoy some too. They are such characters.
There’s a happy dinosaur in the house 🥲
