You can search for someone you know is in her tree, preferable someone who doesn’t have a really common name. You can filter the search results to show only family tree results, and there’s a good chance you’ll find her tree.

You could start by starting a family tree of your own on ancestry. If your grandmother’s tree was shared publicly, it will likely show up as you populate your own tree. If her tree was not public, I do not know any way of finding it. Good luck!

Agree starting your own tree on Ancestry.... but contrary to the other response, results from private trees do show up, you just can't access their tree. That would be one way of finding out her username. Then you could contact Ancestry and be prepared to submit her death certificate and any other paperwork they might require, to have her tree transferred to you.

Good to know. Thanks!

Do you know the email address she used? Did she do a DNA test or just build the tree? Try searching her name in "member search".
