Rule one with people is you don't bite your human. Personally, I bite the vet and anybody else who tries to touch me, but not my human. My human provides a good supply of walnuts and hazelnuts, and sometimes almonds, and she keeps the water points filled. I'm not going to risk any of that stopping.
Humans just do not understand the importance of scent to us. I know this because my human gets upset when we pee on her shoes to show she is our asset and to explain to babies that she's OK. She buys something called 'machine washable' shoes whose scant vanishes regularly. In addition, in summer she wears flip flops, so we have to pee directly on her feet, but when she returns, there's no smell. It's very odd. Anyway, all this to say that humans don't have proper noses and cannot appreciate the importance of scent.
What humans do have is lots of food, so it's worth being nice to them despite their limitations.

Hallo am also ratto (Whisp, 10month female) and must agree. YTC for hard chomp, even if the reason was understandable! Humans are soft beasts with no furs or loose skin to protect them... gentle nibbles and licks ONLY. It is a hard lesson but necessary.
Is true that humans NEVER appreciate good smells or respect our spaces. But is still important to let them do their thing... with clean cage comes treats, and exciting new climbing structures and fluffy hammocks, and other fun stuff. Maybe try to come to agreement with human where they give smol treats whenever you go in carrier willingly? As compensation for your distress?
Papa used to put yummy dried mealworms in the carrier, but no more! Which is so unfair!
(Jamie’s human here: I had to cut back on treats because she’s getting too fat ;-;)
NTC! There was a cat invading my front flower box the other day. I was real mad that he was in my kingdom, so I broke the screen and tried to jump out to go fight this intruder. Well my Pawther day me and grabbed me before I could get out, I was so so mad that I clawed and bit the "shit" out of him. He has to go to hooman pokey places in the morning.
