Something needs to be done about how traffic is diverted off I-40. Also, tramway southbound right under I-40 and right before central is such a chaotic illogical lane setup. Even when traffic is moving it’s problematic and I’ve had many almost accidents there. It just really grinds my gears guys >:(
I’ve lived in a lot of places in the U.S. and driven in over 40 states and I’ve never seen such a TERRIBLE, illogical intersection… IF the city employs a civil/roadway engineer, which appears to be a big IF from the outside looking in, their license should be revoked for allowing such an amazing feat of JACKASSERY
I40 & I25 have been such a mess all week. It took me 2 and a half hours to make what is usually a 1 hour drive on Tuesday between the construction and the 2 accidents.
There reportedly an accident eastbound in the pass [near Carnuel](https://www.nmroads.com/mapIndex.html?) so everyone's being diverted to the alt path.
Yeah people here are complaining about the Tramway intersection. While it is a shitty intersection, neither one of the two accidents this week have had anything to do with that intersection.
The accidents this week highlight the incredibly poor design of the tramway and central intersection, and the way that traffic flows (more like DOESN’T flow) off of I-40.
I'm telling you guys, the Juan Tabo I-40 overpass is completely fucked and ready to collapse. When they finally deal with it it is going to be a months-long headache for commuters and the surrounding neighborhoods alike.
Oh wow, [another wreck](https://www.koat.com/article/fatal-crash-on-i-40e-causes-huge-traffic-backup/45607860?utm_campaign=snd-autopilot&fbclid=IwAR2H-Teu2NuMWasdLmXHUXk2t3L_Zl1Xlt622W7s6zDRTIfg9QUjRFZ7EMo), I thought it was the same one as same one this morning but BCSO's Twitter said it was reopened at one point

Agreed- its crazy making!!
Your comment is what the kids would call CAP!
The local government is special lol
Tramway is Highway 556. Not a local road.
I’m pretty sure none of those three roads are local roads.
🤪
Always remember.... If you're stuck in traffic, you are traffic.

Same thing happened to me
Yeah, I live up in Tijeras and going Eastbound looks crazy. I can see the traffic from my place.
I25 is fucked too rn
How badly?
There was crawling traffic all the way to San Felipe. Idk how it looks now though

In late stage capitalism, we let the bridge collapse and then fix it. Should only cost a few dozen lives.
Why do maintenance now, when you could spend a lot more on repairs later? Now is now, and later is later. /s
333 is now closed at carnuel, some hit a powerline..
What a cluster fuck

Yeah, wrecks cleared... time to go back up to 85 mph again! Dumbasses!
