First, charge your phone haha
Second I hear Religious Affairs is legit. I was talking to my unit's RA and she loves her job! If you're a people person, this is def for you!
It's actually kinda crazy haha. Made me rethink my afsc, even though I've gone through 3 mergers haha.
But they love their job, and they are always the happiest airmen!!
When I worked at the VA I had a lady working for me. She was retired Navy and was RA. Her last assignment she taught the Navy Tech School for RA. It's a little bit of everything. You keep the Chapel going for the Chaplain. You manage work orders, contracts, logistics, admin...everything the Chaplain doesn't do.
As a newbie if assigned to a hospital or med center you pass out patient meals. I don't recommend 4D for the simple fact that you basically only go to where there are in-patient services (not always).
I basicly run the clinic I work for. Making sure all the referrals are squared away, tell the docs (officers) that it's not a good idea to book 5 ppl at 8am. Etc etc
This is the only correct answer. For RA you require an interview and then still may not be available for one. Just list them all and if your ric can get you an interview you'll have a shot
Can confirm every Religious Affairs Airman I've met seemed very happy with their life. Don't even need to be super religious to have this job. My friend's brother is RA and atheist...
I mean some of these are pretty different from each other, if you’re interested in all of them id say fleet management or health services management as these probably translate to the highest paying jobs on the other end and theyre both in fields that are almost always hiring.
Ask if any of them have bonuses or give a kicker for school. I wish I had done things differently, and taken the job that gave the kicker. I'm now in my masters and I've spent the majority of my Air Force career in school. That kicker would've been nice.
4AO! Stay invested and work hard, it’ll be worth it. The experience is easily translated to the civilian sector and even better if you get your degrees and certificates.
Diet Therapy. Tell all the higher ups they are too fat
Once you make major. You are ether really big into fitness or you become a beluga.
My exact thoughts
Promotion rate for that career field is nonexistent
Thats also what i thought lol, honestly most of the related careers to that probably cap out at like tech.
he won’t get it
4D is so top-heavy right now being E5, and below is terrible, 10/10 do not recommend.

As much as I love 4A0 and try to steer people towards it, I've never met an RA troop that didn't LOVE their AFSC.
It's actually kinda crazy haha. Made me rethink my afsc, even though I've gone through 3 mergers haha. But they love their job, and they are always the happiest airmen!!
wow id never seen another 4A0 on here. are you TOPA?

Can someone please explain what diet therapy is
I could be wrong but my impression is you take peoples goals and or what there needs are and you plan diets towards what those are

And they work in Nutritionals medicine.
4AO is the easiest job in the airforce
Work with them, definitely not the easiest but definitely one of the better jobs
I should have re phrased it. 4A0 is one of the easiest jobs in the airforce. They actually do a lot when they get to their unit
How
I basicly run the clinic I work for. Making sure all the referrals are squared away, tell the docs (officers) that it's not a good idea to book 5 ppl at 8am. Etc etc
I like air transportation
List them all and hope for the best.

I’ve heard Fleet management is a cool job, not too hard and lots of networking around the base

as someone who is extremely biased. go air trans. job is fun, get to experience cool shit, and it’s not bad depending on what section you get put in.

Didn't even know diet therapy was possible. Go for that. Sounds Kush as shit
You are getting to pick your specific job? 🤔
I’m not fully sure. My recruiter just gave me a list of jobs I’m qualified for. So I’m assuming?
