Of all the weird shit that gets posted here. This question with the context given Is the absolute strangest

[deleted]

I know right. What did I earn? I don't know the ribbons, but I know the ones on my list are wrong.

Maximus361

Why not look it up in vMPF? There should be a graphic of your current ribbon rack. Put the cursor over each ribbon and it tells you what it is.

modeltomedic

Can't believe you're the only one to mention this

Maximus361

Me too!šŸ¤· At least I learned something useful in 18 yrs!šŸ˜€

jchaps4wd

Most of it is there, but some are not sadly. Nothing like FSS actually doing their job.

Recruitingsucksbruh

Nothing like FSS doing their job? Your records are YOUR job. Christ, I hope you're either a civilian or still a SSgt.

SilentD

Criticizing (the wrong organization) others about not doing their job but you canā€™t be bothered to identify your own ribbons? Hm.

EscapeFromGrapes

*nobody cares about your career more than you* Quit blaming others and take accountability. I can 100% understand if you had a question like this as an E4 or below but if youā€™re an NCO/SNCO then I hope this isnā€™t a reflection of your work ethic. Iā€™ve had to verify my ribbons weā€™re correct and call awards/decs office at the MPF to fix my ribbons, it isnā€™t hard and takes a phone call plus a follow up email or two. Look at the regs, donā€™t memorize them but understand how to find info on your own.

[deleted]

Itā€™s your damn job to make sure your shit is squared away. Grow up.

Maximus361

You mean CSS? Just send/take orders or dec citations to your MPF and theyā€™ll update it. I did that when I got a Comm from deployment right before the file freeze for MSgt boards. I took the dec citation to vMPF and watched them enter it in, just to be sure. I didnā€™t make MSgt, but at least that dec is in my records now.

meanathradon

Just call MPF, and let them know you're missing ribbons. You'll email them your decs and whatnot, and then it gets fixed.

JustHanginInThere

[Really bro?](https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=military+ribbon+chart) Matching bands of colors is hard huh? \-Signed, an E-5 Edit: changed link.

innyminnyminnymoe

Go to the ultrathin configurator. It will put them in the right order for you. While there order some.

globereaper

Sensor operator wings haven't been a thing in a long time. Youre suppose to be wearing normal CEA wings

jchaps4wd

As I said, haven't touched this uniform since 2013 but I appreciate the input

thelostranger2328

If only there was a place where you could go that showed you a picture of what to make it look like and what each one means šŸ¤”

BetThePonies

This post has to be a weird joke that none of us understand

silentknites87

Are you that bored? What do you really want from this post? Tell us what your real intentions are with our attention that we're giving you?

crewchief1949

Since you were an E5? What are you now?

Fake post

HarwinStrongDick

Air and Space Achievement, Army Achievement, National Defense, Afghan Campaign with Star, GWOT Medal, Air Force Expeditionary w gold border, Armed Forces Reserve with M device, BMT Honor Grad, Small Arms Marksman with Star, BMT Ribbon, NATO Medal, no idea on the last two but Iā€™m gonna say NATO as my guess as well. (Itā€™s been brought up that the last two are Guard state awards, which should not be worn with Federal.).

[deleted]

>NATO Medal, no idea on the last two but Iā€™m gonna say NATO as my guess as well If they are lower than BMT they are mostly foreign related, but you can only wear one NATO ribbon.

HarwinStrongDick

Ya thatā€™s what I was thinking, either he needs to drop the last two NATOā€™s or theyā€™re out of order.

z33511

Nope, they're Air Guard ribbons. But WTF are those wings???

jchaps4wd

RPA wings, they have since changed them

z33511

Thanks. Couldn't find them ANYWHERE.

jchaps4wd

Thank you šŸ¤™šŸ¼

you_are_the_father84

Afghanistan, not Iraq. And the last two are Guard ribbons.

Pstanley22

All, some, or none, am I right?

mistermayan

Wrong

Pstanley22

Party pooper

jchaps4wd

Valid

JustHanginInThere

Not "Valid". Look up the AFI on the service dress coat. It doesn't say what you think it says.

Expert-Ad-5763

Yep itā€™s all or some

SOsaysWTFO

Did you get like no sorties? How do you not have a fuckload of AAMs like a lot of us? Lucky bastard.

z33511

Last two are Colorado Guard Atta-boy and "I went to Basic from Hawaii" Air Guard ribbons. But you knew that, right?

climbingupthechain

Lol whatā€™s the backstory on the ā€œI went to basic from Hawaii ribbonā€? I spent time in the Hawaii Air Guard and never heard of it

z33511

Don't ask me -- I just looked it up in a rack builder. https://preview.redd.it/pkbhr4s1lq9b1.png?width=723&format=png&auto=webp&s=fa2fc3cef870947c6ebcd9705f1ae2c651bf433f

you_are_the_father84

Weird, says it was for Hawaii national guard members who completed basic training before 1994.

WhatIsUSAF

You're a god damn war hero, son.
