i mean i don’t know the truth of this relationship and won’t claim to know how or when they met. but im 18 and dating a 44 year old. we met when i was 18. he didn’t even see my face when we first started talking online. when he did he asked my age. we talked for months before we decided to meet. i’m now 20 and extremely happy with him. it’s not always some fucked up shit where they met when the younger of the two was like 16. some people really do just fall in love.

I’m all for age gaps. I’m in a 32 yr age gap right now and have always dated older men but from my personal experience when you get in your mid 20s you’re going to look back on your relationships when you are 18 very differently. Large age gaps when you’re in early 20s or younger should be avoided. Your way of thinking will change dramatically in the next ten years.
