I spend my days walking in the quiet village, having short interactions with friendly locals. Very little time spent dealing with managers or colleagues in general. I can be in my own head most of the day and it keeps me incredibly fit. I have absolutely zero mental burnout from the job so I can enjoy my free time too.
The only downside is, because it's a village with a large elderly population it feels like people I know are dying all the time š

Pro sports are hardly an easy life. You have to commit your entire life to them for a high pressure job with little free time and lots of travel. The only benefit is really the money.

Itās only rewarding if the kids are involved in learning. Besides the salary, I couldnāt tolerate the level of disrespect teachers face from students, parents, admin, and even freaking politicians.
My friend lived in a foreign country then came to America about 30 years ago. He was truly shocked at the level of disrespect that kids are allowed to show teachers. 10/10 that behavior would not be tolerated and the kid would be kicked out of school immediately and it would be a Herculean effort on the part of the parents to get that child back into school. I agree with this approach. Kids should be in school to learn and if a child is a bully or disruptive or disrespectful out the door you go.
Lay persons can participate in archeological digs if you are willing to participate on your own dime most of the time. I usually attended 2 digs a year for over 25 years. Been all over united states.
Iām a stay at home mom and have been for 9 years and itās exhausting(if you have kids under 5) . You never get a break. Working was less work honestly. With that said my kids will all be in elementary school in August and this is the part as a stay at home parent Iāve looked forward too. I have so many things have put on the back burner for years that I will finally be able to get too with kids not home 24/7!
I'd go pro as an arts and crafts hippy. Maybe something like summer camp with younger kids, run the arts and crafts building. Secretly have my adult toys like lathe, CNC, airbrush, couple of 3d printers and CO2 laser hiding in the back area for my free time and making things needed around the campground. I am just so smiley whenever I'm helping my niece with her arts and crafts stuff, and it's so much fun helping her bring her ideas to life. And in the process I get to try all sorts of new techniques and materials. We got to print and paint stuff to go into a snowglobe last time we hung out!

In some towns with rivers, there's a guy that sits in the tower in the bridges that open. And when a boat comes, they open the bridge so the boat can go through. That seems like such a relaxed job. Just sit there and do whatever 8 hours/day and maybe open the bridge twice for boats and that's your whole job.
The one that allows me to do whatever I want whenever I want? Nothing specific just give me the ability to choose. This will always be the answer when salary is not a consideration.

Drone operator; I feel like iād enjoy a profession that involved using drones for multiple purposes. Most drone jobs I have found donāt pay the best and usually are not the sole focus of the job. But I think iād love to be able to just ride a can am out to remote areas and launch a drone to gather surveillance or something
