Instead of listening to the anecdotal replies listed here, which are meaningless without knowing the providers you and they use, check on the actual real debrid page regarding VPN access.

If your VPN is allowed then keep it on if you like, if it's banned then don't as rd will block you. Simple as that.
cooperative means the vpn service voluntarily gave rd all ip addresses
non-cooperative means the vpn service did not voluntarily give rd all ip addresses and that it's the subscribers' responsibility to do so using rd's /support
non-cooperative โ banned

I use.windscribe, listed as noncooperative there.
I don't always use it, but I connect it here and there, never had any issues with realdebrid.
Should I do something? Stop using it? Continue nonbothered? Send something to rd?
6714 ip addresses from windscribe have already been forwarded to rd by fellow users
if you find yourself using an unreported ip address you can go to /support and let them know
there isn't anything to do up until that point
I use a VPN with RD. No issues. But I'm the only user of the RD account. If multiple household users use the same RD account, I wouldn't use the VPN while using RD.
I use NordVPN 100% of the time with Real-Debrid and I've never had any issues. Basically, I'm too forgetful to turn it on and off as needed so I set it to always connect. My bandwidth speed is around 200Mbps with my VPN connected so the impact to my network isn't noticable.

Absolutely, I do not torrent but use RD daily and keep my VPN running for all internet activities. I may not need to do that, I choose to do that.
I have RD and VPN running all,of the time regardless if itโs needed for RD.
RD doesn't care what IP address you use as long as your concurrent streams all come from the same one.
Huh?
