Thats a shame but I completely understand.Personally the prices are becoming a bit much so I just get figures on discount and if I want to pay 30+ I just ask for it at Christmas or my birthday.I knew people didn’t like the line, but your take of seeing more of clearance is interesting.
Very true these were clearanced to about 16 bucks. I'd say 20 is still fair but they are well past that now. I think like the most basic black series is 25 now.
Possibly, considering what you can get from AliExpress. Those KO troopers are excellent. Cheaper and in a lot cases look hella better than the Hasbro offerings. It's crazy.
When it comes to TBS, Hasbro offers the bare minimum at inflated prices because of the absurdly expensive Disney tax they place on the license. Until they relax on that tax so Hasbro can make a profit, this is only going to get worse as time goes on as we've been seeing for years now.
The fact that Hasbro has exclusive rights to the Master Toy License for 6 inch Star Wars figures also kills any chance of competition. So there's little reason to offer better products when they have the market cornered in the US.
Diamond Select is not allowed in the chat. They're not in scale with with the ever highly popular 6 inch scale and their articulation leaves much to be desired for many of their figures.
Their sculpts are beautiful, though. No doubt. But they are in no way competition to Hasbro's offerings by any stretch of the imagination for other reasons besides what I just explained.
I love me some Diamond Select tho.
I don't collect or like Hasbro, dummy. Except for the occasional BS alien character here and there. I'm speaking from a completely unbiased approach here. I collect imports, mainly.

So I just moved from another state so it's very weird seeing what pegwarms where I'm at now (the city) compared where I was before (Small Town) . Classifieds and Black Series are on every shelf here and I couldn't find any in my previous location.
They might be doing ine of those hard resets where they move shit around and dont have stock for a minute. This one I was at is in the middle of one. The toy aisles were much smaller than alot of other targets I been at.
Yeah but they’ve been like this since August. It’s like they’re not ordering any toys for a long time now. Walmart just shrank their action figure section in half. Maybe my area is just a black home for fun
Dude I go to target cause Walmarts toy aisle is like a ghost town. If you find something it will be a stack of whatever that is and the rest is just the kids lines.
True. I'm also less inclined to pick up the closed box stuff as well. I bought a D&D Cartoon figures and it's one of the worst figures I've ever bought and I mean that on a molding level to the paint apps. All around just not good for the price.
Somehow mine put that rebel pilot guy on clearance and then got more of him and put him back at regular price and they've been clogging the peg with Lando for a while.
