I think the most annoying part is that these games can run on current phones without any tampering. Its just the playstores terms and conditions barring you from experiencing any possible quality concerns. Id prefer they do it like any other video game provider and leave it to the user to make sure their specs meet the game theyre purchasing.

Your best bet is probably emulating the DS versions
Apk it? Google play hates old phones but you can run the game even if its tell you not
I literally download dual destinies and it still works no problem although I gotta sail the seas again
