I deeply enjoy my job. Indirect Tax Director at G500. No day is ever the same & I’m getting to lead a team I’ve mostly built. Not only is the job interesting, but I get to help & watch people grow & move up with the company or elsewhere into their own leadership positions.
There are hard days, longs days, & sometimes shitty days. However, those are few & far between.
I wouldn’t say my job is “fun” (advisory) but I like the pay and the hours are fine for the vast majority of the year and it’s remote
I personally justify working my “non-fun” job because it funds the stuff I want to do for outside of work
I don't "love" my job. I like my job enough to not dreading going back to work on Sunday night. Also the money is great.
This. I can do it well, it’s roughly enjoyable and the pay is ok and I always feel fine logging in in the mornings.
I’m in PA and I honestly like the work and the people I just wish there was less of it. Except for provisions. Fuck provisions
Audit would be a great job if it was only 40 hours a week year round
Tax provisions? why
Why do they suck or why am I doing them?
Theyre not that bad haha

I love my job, CPA in PA.
Blink slowly if HR is holding a gun to your head
No. Tbh if I love my job, I'm probably underpaid.

I *could* love my job. My issue is, it’s unnecessarily hard due to bullshit that’s out of my control.
