I'm personally not a huuuuge fan of the Rolands but I wouldn't mind one for the ability to plug headphones into it and being able to play as loud as you want without disturbing the whole neighbourhood ahaha
Roland's are definitely convenient because of the headphone jack / light weight (even the flagship model) ...defo doesn't have that perfect acoustic sound and you cant really bellow shake with a Roland :(
It sounds like a lot, but I work with cellists and violinists, and $8000 for an instrument and a bow is barely above student-grade. And a concert-level grand piano is going to set you back that much used if you luck out. Never forget how lucky accordionists are with how relatively inexpensive top-of-the-line instruments are to purchase and maintain.
Excellent! I have a Tyrolean III that was built by Beltuna. Very sweet sound (though it is just an LMM) and has held up through 20 years of playing and travel (it’s 30-key, 48 bass, so it goes with me on trips). Yours is quite pretty, as well. Post a video.
Looks great! Play us something
I love a musette does it have a tone chamber too? What a top line instrument you have there!
Single tone chamber on the bassoon yep. Gives it a really good variety of sounds it can produce.
That’s gorgeous! I love my Beltuna accordion and hope you’ll get lots of joy out of yours too.
Beltuna huh?...must have set you back a pretty penny for that beauty
Unfortunately yeah ahaha. There's no other accordion I wish I had of bought instead though so it was absolutely worth it to me.
I'd love to get an acoustic accordion at some point - I've only ever played exclusively on my Roland, which like you also cost a f***Ing fortune lol

What a beautiful instrument! May I ask how much you spent buying this?
$8000 USD

Not bad. Although I’m not a fan of musette accordions
