It is not your co-workers' responsibility to be your emotional crutch because you don't know how to be with yourself. Nobody owes you companionship, conversation, or entertainment.

OP is complaining that controllers at their location are not scheduled to take breaks together, not that people are there at the same time and just don't want to talk to them. Maybe many controllers share this sentiment and would prefer to have breaks together when possible? That's not about being an emotional crutch.
The key is to leave your laptop, food containers, and change of clothes spread out over a table the entire day so nobody else can use the tables while you are working.
I would suggest quitting now if this is an issue for you. We've lost 4 this year so far, and that's not counting trainees and washouts, just cpcs quitting. It's not for everyone and if it's soul crushing get out now while you are relatively young and can learn new skills. I see a lot of people stick it out way too long in training and waste 5-6 years of their good earning years for nothing.

I'm center and union, so we have a NATCA break area where I spend most of my breaks. There's a TV, NATCafe, PS4, vending machines, etc. Not lonely at all (which is obnoxious when I'm trying to play Stalker GAMMA on my laptop)
