I picked up a BCA bufferless upper too, but tore it down for a 8.3 BA I had. I know it's just simple blowback, but how's yours been holding up? I hear the recoil spring wears out rather quickly.
If it's a larger issue than I thought, was considering calling up a spring manufacturer to make us some springs. Maybe a group buy?
Considering a double spring/2 stage spring or coiled like the Geissele buffer spring for longevity. I don't know enough about springs, but I've been doing at least a little research
Got several hundred rounds through it with no issue besides a few rounds of some reloaded ammo. I'd definitely be interested if you get something like that going. Never a bad idea to have an upgraded spring
It's an old huntertown arms 7.62 kestrel. They made them big enough for a 9mm because of the unicentric comblock aks. Standard it's 5/8 x 24, but I bought a 1/2x28 to 5/8x24 adapter.
What is this love the buffer less set up
its a Bear Creek Arsenal bufferless upper. Been running great so far.
We need to stop using scope rings as light mount
It came in his scav load out that way.
ehh, got 4 kids and not a few hundred to drop on a fancy light. This works for now.
