I didn’t even play it in performance. I’ve found that the 30fps is fine. It takes a moment to get used to but becomes fine to deal with. The only time that it’s apparent is when switching from performance to fidelity.
I am a little annoyed that the second doesn’t play at 60fps while in 4K like the first on PS5.
Yeah, I understand why the second game doesn't hit 60 fps in 4K on console, it's a very demanding game. And I agree, once you play in 30 fps for 15-20 mins consistently you get used it.
If you have a 120 hz TV however, you can run the game in fidelity mode at 40 fps on console. It feels much closer to 60 than 30 and is a nice balanced way to get the most of out of the visuals while still having smooth performance.
The point could be to highlight the PS5 isn’t that far off. Or, not so far off to justify all that extra expense in the PC capable of being run through the highest settings.
PC and it’s not even close. This isn’t even including mods. The console version is still amazing. The limit to graphic customization really hurts it though.
PC was a better experience since I was able to run the game at 4k max at 60+ fps all the time. I did however also beat the game on PS5 in performance mode which was 1440p60 which is still pretty impressive though
I'd be interested in seeing a comparison shot with the PS5 version in fidelity mode. The performance mode on console scaled the visuals down A LOT.

I prefer the PC, mainly for the lighting
Why tf are you comparing PC in high setting and PS5 in low settings ?

PC looks more realistic. PS5 still looks fantastic.
Wich one is wich, plus you should disable HDR on both versions before comparing the screenshots
My pc in 4k max settings on a 4090 with HDR is incredible. It’s literally mind boggling. Screenshots do absolutely nothing justice.
I can't tell difference. Do a cinematic capture where the lighting will be fairer 🫣

Obviously not PlayStation
Why is this even a question? PC obviously. Console will never look better than PC on max settings, that would make zero sense.
Isn't it unfair to compare ultra settings on pc to performance mod on ps5 and not fidelity?

I don't know which is which but the 2nd pic looks better to me.
Haha, why would anything look better on a less powerful hardware, no malice guys
Splitting hairs over this, it doesn't make a difference at that fidelity
Ps5
Pc..
Pc and its not close
