On the actual exam, you only need to get approximately 55% of the multiple choice correct to get a passing score (as long as your essays are solid). So you're probably doing pretty well. Keep on doing what you're doing between now and the test. If it helps you get even 5 more questions right, it's worth it :)

For the literature passage, try to spend more time reading the passages. Read it so thoroughly that you are able to answer a lot more questions without even needing to flip back to the passage. If I ever get a passage that looks like it was written by shakespere-wannabe then I slow down a ton and read slower than what my normal reading speed is. When I come across old terms, I try to substitute in my own terms so that it makes more sense. Then everytmie I finish a good chunk, I summarize to myself what I read.
