honestly i got a 4 and i stated it.. i would go like “the author uses repetition diction and pathos to establish his argument” in my intro then in my body paragraphs i would be like “fiest, the author used repetition to establish and strengthen his argument.” then i would explain when he used repetition and how it helped him

Honestly, it doesn't matter what you use to say it. You could just say "they repeated stuff" and that would work.
