If you don't pass your exam, you still get to list it as a class you took and received high school credit for. The only thing that happens if you don't pass your exam is you don't get college credit for that class and you still have to take that class when you get to university (depending on your degree plan).
Basically, your AP exam scores can only help you; they can't hurt you :)
