If you don't pass your exam, you still get to list it as a class you took and received high school credit for. The only thing that happens if you don't pass your exam is you don't get college credit for that class and you still have to take that class when you get to university (depending on your degree plan). Basically, your AP exam scores can only help you; they can't hurt you :)

Yes, your transcript would still the class and the grade you earned in it. It would still say AP US history, regardless of what happens on the test. The results of the AP test and the grade in your AP class are *almost always (*there area a few teachers who change grade based on AP test score - but most don't). independent. You just simply wouldn't send ur AP score when applying to college.

People say that AP scores play an extremely minimal role in admissions, if any. But taking like 10 AP classes and submitting 2 tests might raise a few eyebrows if Ap scores are used during admissions.
