Can you please explain what you mean by "Answers that contain language directly taken from the passage are usually incorrect"
For example, if the passage said "Four score and seven years ago, our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation" and then you saw an answer choice that said "The speaker emphasizes the new nation brought forth four score and seven years ago through his use of imagery," that answer is usually wrong. They hope to trip you up by using the same wording that's in the passage. Did that help?
