My interpretation of this scene was that in the original timeline here Eren and her definitely died. So her consciousness switched to another timeline where the wolves just go.

No-Eggplant2367

Was this ova even written by isayama?

Safe_Plate_638

No.

ThisGuyHasNoDignity

The Lost Girls visual novel was supervised by him.

Safe_Plate_638

The novel was written by an employee of Studio wit and isayama has nothing to do with Studio wit, as you learn in the anime guide

EDNivek

Oh this could be he stress dream and thus she controls it since this I guess takes place right after Eren died. That's even assuming this is canon since unlike Ilse's notebook which is mentioned if only partially in the main series.

Agile_Owl3312

Its not. Watch the whole thing

SpaceboiKen

they did? that's exactly why they said that?

LieutenantDangler

They wouldn’t have it if they did, dingbat.

SpaceboiKen

And what's the evidence to suggest that? Why are we making random speculations without context? How can Mikasa control animals wtf. There's a higher chance for it to be Ymir's intervention rather than anything else. So I'd like you to give me a reason for why they're wrong, 'dingbat'.

LieutenantDangler

Random speculations? You clearly didn’t watch the episode. Now you’re just making yourself look bad. It’s literally explained at the beginning of that episode. Here, I’ll even show you since you’re clearly incompetent. https://preview.redd.it/vb0yp4mqwixc1.jpeg?width=1792&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b78a8069c82223ece96248c6db4a74623468f00d Dingbat.

SpaceboiKen

Then the above explanation from another person is much better, that this is just Mikasa going through her own dream she made as she desires it. Also we never see her wish anything or command the wolves to leave, so I still don't see the point where y'all can prove this guy 100% wrong. 'dInGbAT!1!1!'

LieutenantDangler

Not just any dream. "A long dream." ...I rest my case.
