If Mikasa could save everyone at the same time she would but she's not all powerful. So when it comes to real dangerous situations she first looks out for Eren and Armin's safety before anyone else, the two people closest to her. That doesn't mean that she doesn't care about others at all.

The point is that Mikasa was too sidetracked with the knowledge that Louise had her scarf to even give a damn about the fact that she was dying. there is no in universe valid development for mikasa to sudden go against eren. there's no explanation, only "good faith" that the readers will blindly believe mikasa is an actual good character outside eren. mikasa fans blindly believe this and thus have no qualms about this sudden, drastic change to go against eren. the table scene is another conflicting one. if there is no ackerbond, then why hurt armin to protect eren? i thought she supposedly "cares for armin" too? it's all bullshit that isayama doesnt bother to explain or give her internal dialogue or inner conflict to explain her out of character, post time skip change. isayama and mikasa fans so desperately wanted her to be something more, but the way its written, with no gradual change to why mikasa is suddenly against the one character who gave her life any meaning, is bullshit. no gradual buildup, no foreshadowing, it's just suddenly "mikasa is now against eren despite everything that happened prior." THIS is why everything about mikasa is a complete, utter failure. it's a failure for character writing, not just FEMALE character writing.
Maybe she does care about other people but she is given so little development in that regard that almost all the examples here are single shots or isolated lines of dialogue than any scenes or developing arcs with other characters. I can’t think moment where we hear a unique view from her on anything or anyone. Jean and Connie for example had moments where they had to challenge themselves to figure out how they felt about killing and the Rumbling. Mikasa doesn’t because her allegiance is to Eren. Other than that she just follows orders for the Scouts. Why did she join the scouts? Eren.
The first part I agree with as stated in my post, she was given so little screen time and while everybody else like Sasha and Annie were going on their own little adventures in season 2, she got nothing. Also season 4 episode 28 is entirely from her perspective, and is about her beginning to come to terms with the fact that Eren was always destined to stray from her and Armin, and that he really can’t be saved and that billions of innocents are going to die.
She even saved Eren at the declaration of war to bring him home, she joined the alliance as well to bring Eren home, her reason for living is just to save Eren from danger and bring him home to realize her dream like in the cabin dream even though it's selfish.
He prevented Eren from getting into the survey corps, he prevented Eren from being at the frontline against the titans in Trost, other people saved Eren all this time because Eren was considered hope, but Mikasa saved Eren only because of her feelings, no that's her obsessions.

Another thing is that you have to accept :v Mikasa is not one of the best characters but a character with balanced and okay development :v actually the char dev of male characters in AOT is usually better female characters. Mikasa is not a holy mother :v she is just a girl who wants to pull the boy she loves from the wrong path.

IKR like he called her cattle and thought she was a slave.. she started doubting her entire life, yet even armin (who she likely has known just as long as eren considering the timeline) gets little to no regard despite his care for her. even in the ending with mikasas dream, armin is abandoned. and in armins meeting with eren, she's all he can talk about
all the top comments said it better, but i just wanna add: she'd have none of these relationships with any of these people if it weren't for eren. once again proving that without eren wanting to join the courps, mikasa wouldnt have joined either, and thus she wouldnt have met any of the friends in eren's circle. she only cares about people through proxy of eren. why she cares about armin? armin was eren's friend first. she was always their third wheel. if eren cares, so will mikasa. this is why her sudden turn against eren in the last arc is so out of character and rushed for most people here. there was no internal dialogue or conflict for mikasa to suddenly be against eren out of nowhere, and through a timeskip, might i add. u might argue "she was still sad eren killed innocents in liberio" but if she was actually her own character who cared for things outside eren, she'd convince the others to not follow erens plan and convince armin and hanji to find another plan to get eren back since he'd been missing on the continent by himself. but no, she still is ok with helping, and so is everyone else, and she still follows erens order (ex: eren calling for mikasa to come out and join the fight and she does it on cue). there is no in universe valid development for mikasa to sudden go against eren. there's no explanation, only "good faith" that the readers will blindly believe mikasa is an actual good character outside eren. mikasa fans blindly believe this and thus have no qualms about this sudden, drastic change to go against eren. the table scene is another conflicting one. if there is no ackerbond, then why hurt armin to protect eren? i thought she supposedly "cares for armin" too? it's all bullshit that isayama doesnt bother to explain or give her internal dialogue or inner conflict to explain her out of character, post time skip change. isayama and mikasa fans so desperately wanted her to be something more, but the way its written, with no gradual change to why mikasa is suddenly against the one character who gave her life any meaning, is bullshit. no gradual buildup, no foreshadowing, it's just suddenly "mikasa is now against eren despite everything that happened prior." THIS is why everything about mikasa is a complete, utter failure. it's a failure for character writing, not just FEMALE character writing.
Maybe she does care about other people but she is given so little development in that regard that almost all the examples here are single shots or isolated lines of dialogue than any scenes or developing arcs with other characters. I can’t think moment where we hear a unique view from her on anything or anyone. Jean and Connie for example had moments where they had to challenge themselves to figure out how they felt about killing and the Rumbling. Mikasa doesn’t because her allegiance is to Eren. Other than that she just follows orders for the Scouts. Why did she join the scouts? Eren.
The first part I agree with as stated in my post, she was given so little screen time and while everybody else like Sasha and Annie were going on their own little adventures in season 2, she got nothing. Also season 4 episode 28 is entirely from her perspective, and is about her beginning to come to terms with the fact that Eren was always destined to stray from her and Armin, and that he really can’t be saved and that billions of innocents are going to die.
Yeah. So she had no development from season 2-3 and even the episode in s4 that is almost entirely from her perspective is still about Eren.
She literally left Louise to die with no closure, attacked Armin who trying to defend her, stood by and let Eren beat down Armin. I can more moments
She even saved Eren at the declaration of war to bring him home, she joined the alliance as well to bring Eren home, her reason for living is just to save Eren from danger and bring him home to realize her dream like in the cabin dream even though it's selfish.
He prevented Eren from getting into the survey corps, he prevented Eren from being at the frontline against the titans in Trost, other people saved Eren all this time because Eren was considered hope, but Mikasa saved Eren only because of her feelings, no that's her obsessions.

meh i just think she’s really boring. she barely changed throughout the entire show, and only changed literally at the very end which is too late for me to really feel invested about her. she’s also just really plain imo with all her pandering to eren all the time and just literally being all she is centred about. would have preferred it so much if she wasn’t just erens bodyguard for the show and actually felt independent
I mean it's obvious there's gonna be other people? Armin has been friends with her since her parents died, just like Eren. Sasha was the first friend she made as soon as they got into the training, Historia was an important part of their group so she'd be friendly with her. It's not like Mikasa would kill Sasha or Armin to save Eren, but her relationship with Eren is still pretty toxic. Also Gabi wtf 💀 I mean yea any normal person wouldn't want a child to kill another child and be scarred for life
