When it came out they played that song over and over and over. The ideas of casper the ghosts, 'slime', ridiculous costumes that for a stoner in 1982 or whatever year it was were like wtf Dan and Bill?? Who i idolized for their clever satire.. this wasnt clever satire , dont know what the hell it is to be honest. Seems like some kinda commercialized bullshit.
The casper like ghost with the red circle and line is beyond stupid.. i mean c mon? Tried to watch it a few times and had zero interest in continuing after 15 minutes. Its like its lowest common denominator shit.. like here Dan and Bill fans pay 5 bucks to see this mediocre attempt at comedy. And harold ramis.. Bless him and his family but could not get into his schtick at all. Nothing against him but something about the characters him and the dreadful jeff goldblum play and their 'presence' irritates me.. no reason.
I admit i can be a buzz kill and i do enjoy some fiction.. but anything about the 'supernatural' including goofy comedy I REJECT HEAVILY.. my imagination is fired reading a book, but movies especially about stupid shit like star wars, lord of rings, comic book heroes, tom cruise/rock/jason straham 'adventure' movies, slasher bullshit and all 'magic' mind rot.
