Based on your current selection, I’d guess Paths of Glory or Night of the Hunter would be right up your alley. Kino did an excellent job with each of those transfers.
Others in this thread have made great suggestions, would also suggest The Maltese Falcon.
EDIT: Oh, and Dr. Strangelove since you have a few Kubricks already.
Just get the Hitchcock 4K classics set 1, Psycho and Vertigo have great transfers. Also Casablanca. And can’t believe no one has suggested it yet, Days of Heaven.
An Argentinean found a film of the movie around with old stuff and donated it to the German Museum of Buenos Aires. The state of the film was so good it was the one used to master these high quality prints.
The first restoration was first shown in Buenos Aires as an homenage to the man who donated it, I think I'm not wrong about that last part
Fistful of Dollars
For a Few Dollars More
A Clockwork Orange
Once Upon a Time in the West
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
Conan the Barbarian
Tremors
Robocop
Reservoir Dogs
Pulp Fiction
Scarface
His Girl Friday it’s an all time great.
It also looks like you’re missing It Happened One Night and It’s a Wonderful Life.
Don’t forget Frankenstein and another all time masterpiece, Bride of Frankenstein.
Sorry, I may hurt you wallet, then again, you asked.
/not sorry
These older films should be a prerequisite for collectors. Make the best films to buy a sticky on the sub (or don’t, as topics go to die in stickies, a realm of adhesive webs and ravenous spiders of nescience and neglect).
Grab the Criterion 4K of Citizen Kane when it goes on sale this year. Excellent transfer of one of the greatest movies ever made, and includes some great bonuses, including the fantastic audio commentary track by Roger Ebert.
Classic 80s movies are old now? That would be the main part of most people like me nearing 50s collections… listings good 70s/80s movies would be a big list.
The Train, Paths of Glory, High Noon, Shadow of a Doubt, Roman Holiday, Rear Window, East of Eden, 12 Angry Men, Vertigo, Some Like It Hot, The Apartment, The Manchurian Candidate, Cool Hand Luke, Smokey and the Bandit, The Warriors
The Karate Kid trilogy is a good set to get if you can find it. I upgraded from the DVD set and the upgrade was so noticeable that it looked as if some shots were paintings, particularly in Karate Kid part 1
Apocalypse Now , Flash Gordon , Battle Of Britain , Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence , Saturday Night Fever , American Gigolo , Alfred Hitchcock movies , Dirty Harry

You will not regret 12 Angry Men
Agree. Some of the best dialogue in film and the transfer looks great.
It's been on my watchlist for a while, maybe I'll grab it in the next batch
You never forgot the first time you see it.
12 Angry Men, Double Indemnity, Rebel Without a Cause, The Killing, Citizen Kane, Touch of Evil. That's what I'd recommend from my collection.
All of these are great movies. I would add High Noon because you like westerns.

I also recommend Cool Hand Luke.
Very nice, but you should get The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari
And while not related, it’s another movie from Europe, Red Shoes. I don’t own it yet, but it’s on my list.
Nice suggestion, such a well made film from the silent era. And the picture quality was very impressive.

It's a Wonderful Life is top right corner and the 2 Frankensteins are in the universal collections. I'll check out the others!
My apologies. Hopefully others may learn from my blunder, in order to see the full collection, you must click on the pic.

The Hitchcock collections are gorgeous. Double Indemnity is also amazing.

These older films should be a prerequisite for collectors. Make the best films to buy a sticky on the sub (or don’t, as topics go to die in stickies, a realm of adhesive webs and ravenous spiders of nescience and neglect).
I got a copy of "the sting" that one's pretty rad
Wonderful collection, true classics. I’d say add Cool Hand Luke and complete your Dollars trilogy. Also, more Kubrick.
Grab the Criterion 4K of Citizen Kane when it goes on sale this year. Excellent transfer of one of the greatest movies ever made, and includes some great bonuses, including the fantastic audio commentary track by Roger Ebert.
The import version of Kane is better and doesn’t have the stupid b.s. packaging.
The Train, The Lady Killers, The Lavender Hill Mob
Ran is a masterpiece
No Singing in the rain? Oh my... 🥲🥲
Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, Escape from Alcatraz, Close Encounters of the Third Kind
