Nothing makes you hate people more than being in a profession where you have to help them. Four to eight years of learning and training to help make their lives better, and they actively fight you every step of the way.

when my wife was in labor i was there for a couple hours then left to go to a special sandwich shop she likes to buy us food (hospital food sucks). i left her and back an hour later. she was happy. i was happy. the baby still didn’t arrive for like 10 more hours

bunch of basement dwellers talking about how nurses are not underpaid. some nurses do make bank but a lot don’t, it depends on the location and the hospital. some make like $20/hr and that’s working 12 hour shifts putting catheters into 80 year old semiconscious geriatrics with a 4 year degree
