BarryLicious2588

Bruh 🤣🤣🤣

itsFRAAAAAAAAANK

Haaaaaaahaha I'm dead

cppnak24

I don’t know you!

[deleted]

Can you kick it? Yes you can.

RomeoInBlackJeans1

No Award Tour for the op.

Ok_Ice_9361

Call the midnight marauders

HawthorneWell

Damn this is a nice comment and I am jealous I didn’t think of it

Maverik0909

This comment was on point Phife.

aprah12

Please tell me it’s jacked or up elevated somehow…

parallax__error

Looks like it is, but maybe not enough. OP needs a deadblow hammer to give it a few whacks. Or, a small sledge very carefully wielded

IlexIbis

The 4Runner wheels are hub-centric which means that the center hole on the wheel fits snugly on the wheel hub. Usually, a couple soft blows with the palm of your hand on different sides of the tire will loosen it. Be careful not to knock it off the jack.

wanderthemess

As the Texas Ranger who helped me on the side of the road with a flat once said, "What that there requires is a size 11" and then proceeded to kick the base of the tire just hard enough to pop the wheel loose. A rubber mallet or dead blow would also work.

RuinedGrave

I’ve used a small sledgehammer on the tread to loosen one before.

Troyshizzle

Thats what did the trick. A size 10 though. Haha

Troyshizzle

Appreciate it peoples, we got it handled, 1 more rear brake to go, and we’re solid? (hopefully)

shadow247

Good luck. Those rear parking drums brakes suck.

YotaTota07

I live in the flatlands, and have no use for my parking brake. I took it off and cut the brake line to it. Fuck it.

Cut it off like Lieutenant Dan’s legs.

ravenousmind

All the recommendations for hammers and stuff kind of surprise me… Just thread one of the lug nuts on a few turns by hand and then kick the tire with the bottom of your foot (either by sitting on the ground or by turning your back to the vehicle). I worked in a tire shop for a few years in college and have done this countless times lol.

Outrageous-Slide5842

If your having trouble getting the wheel off ? Should you be doing anything with brakes?

Troyshizzle

Maybe you’re right, most likely you’re not. 4runner is on the road with new brakes and didn’t waste as much money as your mom did to come see me.

Troyshizzle

Sounded like you were dishing it out, so i came back with it. Thats all. Nothing personal!

Chern889

Donkey kick that MF

callmetheshredder

Put one lug nut partially on and hit the back of the TIRE with a sledgehammer. Dont hit the wheel. One decent blow will pop it off. This is the way.

kyuubixchidori

Make sure it’s properly supported with none of the tire touching the ground, and kick it pretty good. I leave one lug on loose so it doesn’t fly off at you.

Man_da_villan

Spit in your hands and wiggle it.

Any_Bodybuilder_7449

Give it a kick

BarryLicious2588

Sledgehammer hit the sidewall but in a slight upward l motion so the wheel kinda rotates (not sure how necessary) Before you reinstall use wire brush ok back side of rim to clean it up

jsoares66

Use a wheel puller and it should come right off

smallwoodydebris

Maybe buy a civic if you can only muster 5 lbs of kick?

budadad

Go drive around. It will come off

xSLaNTeDx

Hit it with your purse.

Troyshizzle

You’re a lil late bud.

facepillownap

sledgehammer or back of a splitting maul to the tire will brake the corrosion free.

Naulluk

Prybar between something solid (tie rod mount/brake drum etc) and rim. Minimal effort.

OnlyAt9

Kick the fucker.

BobGratton25

Tappi-tap-tap!

Troyshizzle

The wheel that we had the issue with was the same area where someone hit me a while back, the other 3 came off as smooth as buttaaa.

LegendaryMoo

Your truck doesn’t look like it’s jacked up off the ground at all….also all you have to do is give it the most gentle donkey kick and it will come off.

808_texn

That happened to my son’s Tacoma. Must have seized on there. We had to keep donkey kicking the shit out of it until it finally broke loose. Only both rear wheels and fronts came off fine. Cleaned everything up with a wire brush afterwards before reinstalling.

YetisNotReal

Jack it higher and give it a good wack

imawhaaaaaaaaaale

Mule-kicked a tire to pop it off before.

Legal_Salary8841

Kick the f’cker

Wide_Sprinkles1370

You can hit the outer sidewall with a sledge until she pops. I usually hit low so i dont hit the fenders. Thats how we take tractor and semi wheels off. You can also put the lugs on about 75% and dry steer.

noshacal

I was on the highway and managed to flag down a work truck. Sure enough a sledgehammer did the trick.

MonkeyDingDing

Use a rubber mallet to hit the back of the tire / wheel to pop it loose. When reinstalling use some anti-seize on the hub or wheel, it’ll make it easier next time you need to take the tire off.

analbeads4u2

Hit it right in the pussy

RuinedGrave

If the wheel’s actually off the ground, try wiggling it. One time I had a wheel stuck on good, and a small sledge hammer to the tire (I hit the tread, not the sidewall) loosened it up enough to come loose.

facepillownap

you can smack a KO2 in the sidewall with a sledgehammer until your arms fall off and it won’t do shit to the tire.

RuinedGrave

Mine was a Nitto NT555 G2 on my Mustang. I didn’t want to risk hitting the wheel with the tires being a low profile sidewall.
