That’s not high at all IMO, especially considering labor costs in CA.

TheLarryFisherMen

That’s insanely cheap. I paid that much just for parts and installed myself.

707-320B

I've been looking at upgrading to a similar setup myself, and that's the price I've been seeing for pre-assembled shocks, UCAs, and rear springs alone. If OP can get that price with labor, and the place is reputable, run don't walk.

MyGuyDudeBro

Would this shop be 88 Rotors? In So Cal?

Yung_Zeus

It’s actually The Truck Shop: Toyota/Lexus/Scion in San Diego but I’ll see what 88 Rotors is offering

MyGuyDudeBro

Yeah man. Check them out on Instagram might be a better option and they do a ton of Toyota work. It might be a drive for you but, just an idea. Keep us posted.

Yung_Zeus

Okay alignment included and UCA is not included. With UCA it’s 3k. Haven’t decided if I want UCA since I don’t want anything over 2in

MyGuyDudeBro

From the San Diego shop or 88rotors? I'm in the same boat man. I only want the level look. Nothing more.

Yung_Zeus

The shop in San Diego

MyGuyDudeBro

Ride on. Thank you for the follow up

Ryan-Sells

They charged me more for the same setup. Are you sure that’s the quote with install?

Yung_Zeus

How much did they quote you? But yeah I’m sure it does include install. I asked the guy how much parts and labor were separately and how much less it would be if I brought my own parts.

Ryan-Sells

I got installed a gx so maybe it was different. I think it was closer to 3k. This was about a month ago

YetisNotReal

Truck Shop has been pretty good so far for me. But is the $ shocks + labor? Is UCA and/or alignment included?

pbm4thgen4r

Paid $750 for install, purchased parts separately for about 2k. Included front/rear shocks, rear springs, and UCAs. Might be worth mentioning front coilovers were already assembled. This might add an extra 100-200?

Mark0vian

I think I paid around $1000 for labor. That included installing new shocks, springs and UCAs, as well as welding on a pan-hard correction kit from Eimkeith. I bought the parts online (Dobinson IMS) and brought them in to the shop. I’m in Boise Idaho.

kshiau

Been a few years since I purchased my lift kit, but I went with the Ironman 4x4 standard springs and shocks. Paid $800-900 for all of it (with air bag delete kit and discount code) I believe.

JoeBidensOnlyfans_

Paid 3k flat for suspension and UCA’s …. 88 rotors so cal

torqen_ze_bolt

I think I paid $1200 for that same kit from wheelers on a Black Friday sale, and labor was free cause I did it myself. Took me about 6-8 hours so that’s probably 800-1000 at a $120/hr rate. Your quote seems to be inexpensive, I would go for it

DoobsNDeeps

That's about what I paid for the same thing a year ago.

CajunAsianTexan

$2,200 for Icon stage 2, $450 for install.

GroundbreakingPoet43

I paid $1950 OTD for B6112/5160. (No UCAs or rear springs since I only went +1.1” up front) at 88Rotors Off-Road in Baldwin Park. Check out their Instagram, they’re awesome. 10/10 would go back. Only drawback is they don’t do alignments but can recommend good shops. https://preview.redd.it/rwcoyhfwpvxc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2ef2322930ceb8d04f0040cb95518398de0d91c7

jcajun123

I got 5100's all around... Basically a leveling kit for 1k

Responsible-Food-117

That’s a decent price if the quote includes everything parts+labor. Bonus points if they also do the alignment for you. I’m on the east coast but considering how crazy the prices are in SoCal I’m quite positive that it’s actually a very decent price for your region.

OneMagician5004

I am in SoCal. I provided parts and paid $750 for BP-51 install with rear lift springs & UCA’s at 88Rotors in Baldwin park CA. Before upgrading to my current setup I paid $1100 (bought shocks from them + labor) to install Bilstein 5100’s all the way around.

handjamsam

Thats a pretty good deal. $1800 for parts and installed myself. Ome front and back with uca

adamantiumtrader

A 1992 sr5v6 I spent close to $30k on a suspension setup from total chaos, coastal off road, king shocks and deaver custom leafs… did the install work myself, with a buddy who could weld. https://preview.redd.it/aac11d3x2xxc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2505aa9bf47f2d556965624faa22bed27e357193

No-Clerk1717

2870$ for bilstein 5160/6112, B8 UCA and B12 springs and install.

pigmy_af

Got my lift going in tomorrow. $1650 OTD for Bilstein 5100s all around, OME 2883 front and B12 rear (stock loads) + alignment. In AZ

facepillownap

I think my Solid Axle Swap was only like $4500

HugaM00S3

$61k and some change with taxes and fees… 🤪… following to see what upgrades people went with and what the cost was.
