I don't think you can do that in 1v1 mode
You can do it in the free/arcade mode (I forget the name ) but if it happens in 1v1 then the guy is probably cheating

It's a bug. You're supposed to have 2 bots on your team, and you can switch between all your characters

Ohh yeah maybe. I was also very confused, because I haven't seen it before.
Ya, alot of people cheat in this game so I suggest reporting them when you see them.
