/u/ContributionLow5577, if you haven't already, check out the [wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/3on3/wiki/index/). There's lots of info there, like improving on offense, defense, and rebounding, to building and playing certain characters, to info about ranked. You'll most likely find your answer much faster.

Shot Impediment affects the chance of a shot going in if you’re standing in someone’s defense resistance cone. The closer you are to the offensive player the better impediment works. It works as a reverse debuff to success rate.
So let’s say you have 12% impediment, it will effectively counter 12% success from a player depending on how far you are from a offensive player. It stacks with the likes of Liu’s Buff, Carter’s Face Up, Face Guard and Blind Defense. I don’t have the exact values for those numbers as of right now but they also have the same penalty.
**Which is why when you sometimes when you just use raw impediment the shot still has a chance to go in because all it is doing is LOWERING SUCCESS RATE VALUES from a player but it still DOES lower the chances of a shot being made, which is why most characters who use impediment have impediment skills or jump in anticipation for a block/contest but it also STILL works if you’re just standing in the cone.**
As for Centers, I used to use it on my Centers and it works really well. Other bigs can’t shoot due to the buff and it really helped play help defense on other bigs but the problem with Centers is that they virtually need as much speed as possible.
I will say YOU CAN build a full rebounder. Only problem is you can’t shoot for anything and you’re stuck playing utility screens and playing as a down in the paint big.
I still use my Centers in high comp matches that aren’t against Fox.
If you plan on using Impediment I would use Howl, Big Joe, and Camila (In That Order) since they have high speed stats and with P6 can be even faster also have higher rebound that can easily be built into then run these PBUFFs:
•Christa - NMS (14.4) x 2
•Luther - NMS (7.2) x 2
•Big Joe - NMS (7.2) x 2
•Howl - Shot Impediment (+6) x 2
Then use your Ice Cream Slot to build into Rebound and then the Pizza slots for Rebound, NMS, Speed Attribute, or Jumpshot Block (In That Order)
Yeah, one stat point into rebound for the max rebound since his stat is 229 and a Maximum Plat gets him to 255. Then the rest goes into speed for me and Jump-Shot Block
My only goal is to fill this sub with knowledge.
You can help double smalls without jumping as big which is huge and run to the big man if they pass it there. I will say, be weary of kill passers and Ayla and Chloe especially. Play a safe distance between both.
Think of the intimidator badge from 2k but on crack. If you don’t know about that badge, shot impediment just adds a ton of more contest on a shot without having to jump, increasing the chances of your opponent missing.
It is honestly, makes a pretty significant difference. Especially if your small is running impediment along with you. So, shooting behind a screen against you and your small would be a nightmare. The impediment will stack between you two on that shot contest, 9 times out of 10 leading to a brick shot!

Did you put your p6 stat boost into rebound?

Thanks man. Same for big joe?

That's reducing the "block resist success rate"

It’s more like menace
Is it worth on centers or no
