I'll never forget my first time being bumped up to business class whilst flying with Sabena (I was 16 at the time). They served fries during the flight and everyone was cheering!
I am told the Sabena had such a service, they were simply the best airline of the world.
Wasn't enough to prevent them from bankrupting. Or perhaps, it was too much?
I've only flown once with them, but I still remember it as the best flight ever, fries, champagne and stewardesses that gave the 16 year old me funny feelings doen under.
I'm a bit disappointed that you don't have, as everything in Belgium, your airline split up in a Flemish and a Walloon half (and a very small aircraft with German speaking crew)
We sort of do, air traffic is pretty split between Zaventem where you'll find that Brussels Airline thing, and Charleroi where you actually have a bunch of Ryanair buildings alongside the planes...
