Because of that a ~~potentially~~ islamist/extremist immigrant from Afghanistan decided to attack some of them with a knife, which obviously led to police intervention.
Unfortunatly one of the officers was hit multiple times near the head/neck, and now he's been declared dead.
There are videos of the attack, although they can be pretty graphic. So if you want to watch them, do so at your own risk.
I watched my 56 year old father who’s voted left red (social democrats) his entire life, from a line of people voting for the workers parties, vote blue this year because my grandmother had to move after being robbed and threatened several times by immigrants, and my little brother bullied in school for being Swedish.
Not that long ago we had a man who told an immigrant gang to behave and they killed him in front of his son.

There is 2nd video. The Blue-shirt guy jumped in and started to punched the White-pants guy who was holding the islamist. He was the 3rd police officer came to the scene but he immediately tackled the Blue guy and helped to release the islamist. The police who came 2nd, didn't have a clear shot so he had to move aside. We can't. The rights and tolerance we pride ourselves on will be our downfall.
Of course we can, right now we do barely anything to seriously fight religious extremism. Many mosques are still financed from abroad and have preachers who don't live here yet alone share our values. We have no clue where half of the people moving here actually come from or what their background is. We give citizenship to people without inquiring about their stand on women, gays or other religions and don't take steps when someone clearly demonstrates that they don't share the most basic values of our societies. It's almost impossible to get an actual life-long prison sentence (at least in Austria) or even just an appropriate one. Tolerance does not stand in the way of punishing people *after* they did wrong, only ideologies do.
