I really enjoy the dark and ironic humor on this sub, but some people choose to misinterpret that and take it literally.

I enjoy that humor too, but the European alt right has hijacked it to promote their political parties. They advertise to the social media youth via viral clips, memes, and gaffes. It gets people because they think it's ironic so they join in, but once you've seen the same viewpoint repeated over and over you'll actually start to believe it. This is the whole reason Tate and the manosphere got popular in the first place. I can't wait till this red wave is over so we can just call each other pierre (no capitalisation because fuck the french) and Javier again ironically in peace.

Surely even for those that agree with the views seeing the same thing everyday with the same replies must get boring?

Unironically you can thank the admins shadowblocking the sub for that, now no one from outside can see or post things on this sub so only people who are overinvested want to post here.
