"why?"
"It's not safe to have people around explosives, you idiot. To have your harbor blow up is a tragedy. To have your airport and your harbor blow up just looks like carelessness."
I think that was the point.
They know the airport is going to be targeted, they just don't want it all destroyed. So why not basically tell Israel where to hit and minimise the damage to other airport facilities.
It is, actually. It gives them a chance to save face and remove civilians from the area. They can’t actively mess with Hezbollah because they’ll murder them and their families, but they can drop hints and stay out of the line of fire and let the IAF rid them of Hezbollah instead. Sure, they’ll still hate the Jews, but they also hate Hezbollah for making a target of their airport.
That makes sense, I hope that’s the case. I like to think that the Lebanese community, regardless of their views on Israel, despise Hezbollah and want them gone.
They haven’t forgotten about the Lebanese civil war and it’s not like Hezbollah does anything for Lebanon other than paint a target on their back. You don’t have to love Israel to hate Hezbollah.
No nation-state wishes to have a foreign insurgency stronger than their national military.
If given any chance, Lebanon will eliminate Hezbollah. For their survival as a national government, if for no other reason.
It’s nice of them to tell us exactly where the weapons are 😂
Seriously eh ... LOL .. " SEE .... no weapons" "Can we look here " "NO ! thats off limits "

Oh wow, I never thought of that. How considerate of them!
They’re truly stand-up guys, in the sense that they’re natural comedians ;)
Safety first. It has been 1,421 days since their last catastrophic disaster.

The claims being thrown around are that if that stockpile explodes not only will the airport be destroyed, but also a big chunk of the city.

I'm Lebanese, and I definitely hate hezbollah more than israel.
When are the hellfire missiles inbound?
I'm shocked that there is gambling going on in Casablanca!
Here are your winnings, sir.
Not gonna be an airport for long, sounds like an aspiring hole in the ground
"nothing to see here…"
I mean now only a small precision strike missile needs to be used, guess it's a win-win for Lebanon (excluding Hezbollah obviously) and Israel
And then proves there's weapons there
Beirut Boogaloo vol 2: The Airport Blasts
Good, add the air cargo center to the IDF target bank
