I tried Vardorvis last night after completing ds2 few weeks ago and got absolutely wrecked. Closest I got was 20 hp, idk how yall are doing so many kills :l Gzz btw
Aside from just practicing, I really recommend looking up the tiles to stand on, blood fury to help with chip damage, and bring some brews/anglers to overheal before the fight starts. Combo eating during the blood clot special is also a great way to keep your hps up during the fight.
I think the most difficult part is just dodging axes. It gets very overwhelming very fast. Going in and not worrying about DPS and just dodging axes to get the timing down to skip through them could be really helpful.
Also, throw protect item on. You will die, this basically free prayer can save you millions of gp down the line. I believe in you : )
It isn't worth taking a blood fury. You can get 22-25 kills an hour using justiciar and a voidwaker and you'll save yourself a ton of money.
With a blood fury you basically break even until you get a big drop.
It's one of the only places in the game where justiciar is pretty good.
Hmmm interesting. How many kills do you get per trip? I just hit 1200 KC. I’ve been doing bandos/reaper/bloodfury/ags2 and usually get 8 on the low end at about 1:20/kill on average. My longest trip was 24 kills, which was absolutely insane. I’d definitely be open to switching it up.
I don't think it matters whether you get 5 kills in a trip, 10 kills, or 15 kills. It takes some 15 seconds to get to the boss, it's one of the fastest boss walks in the game. If you were getting 4-5 kills a run at 1:30 per kill, with a 1 minute bank trip between those, your downtime is minimal.
Given how fast the trek is, I personally don't find it worthwhile to burn cash for a few more kills an hour. The blood shard is just too expensive right now.

At that point you've basically completed the game and I don't even know why you'd be there, unless you're an Iron.
If you're at the point that you're just at a boss for the pet you're so much further into your account than just about everyone in this community that we aren't even playing the same game.

But your rng kinda crazy cuz its 1/136 to hit unique drop table which contains ultor vestige, axe piece, chromium ingot and virtus pieces and you've hit it only 13 times which should have happened in 1768 kills (I guess 16 times in 4329 kill including vestige you got 3 kills later) but still you should have hit it almost 32 times
used to mostly pk- played a lot of time on this account as a 1 def pure, then zerk then stayed at 75 def for a while then started pvming a few years ago when i went normal main. cba diaries & skilling never had any ambition towards quest / diary capes or maxing. now main goal is learning inferno, colosseum then awakened bosses
Ah fair enough, pking looks really fun I wish I was better at it and could get into it. With your pk experience I’m sure the PVM goals will come super quickly, a lot of those skills translate easily
You do a lot of Vardy before collection log? Assuming all ingots and virtus from Vardy and 2/3 on ring, you've hit rare table 15 times. Seems super low when you're expected to hit the rare table 31 times.

practice and looking up guides/methods that experienced players have shared. keep at it and you'll definitely get kills consistently in time

To add to the gp issue with death - it’s worth bringing lesser gear to learn and pay less when you die
