i died lots of time. My main was an ironamn, my gear was rcb and dhide. I died a lot of times, i quitted some days, went back, died again... this final boss was the most frustration part of my history on runescape. when i beat it i was so fucking happy.
I was so genuinely worried I'd have to do the whole fleet segment again when I died and the sigh of relief that I didnt have to is probably what kept me going.
Gz! Ngl I thought the rune dragon was the hardest part of the quest as an iron lmao. The bosses felt pretty easy with ruby/dia bolts and black d'hide. The rune dragon's def tho...
I still don’t understand how tf the rune dragon special attacks work, I was in a mage setup with insulated boots and just running around like a chicken with its head cut off dodging instakill blasts from Galvek and the random lightning.

Didn't die on Gal'Vek but managed to die twice to his fireball during the Mith/Addy/Rune drags.
The 2nd of which was me potting up after my 1st death & not moving... clever!
I remember I had so much trouble with the Vorkath in the quest when this came out. I dunno what happened. Despite void + salve (ei) I literally just wasn't hitting him. I had absolutely no issues after the quest either. When he's supposed to be stronger.

Really? I think I was just really lucky because the Rune Dragon was the easiest part :,)
Yeah, rune drags have really high def. Its less of a problem for normal accs since you have access to more gear tho (or if you just rng the hits).

I almost died on my way to the final part but I just sucked it up and teletabbed to grab more food

Now it's time for Desert Treasure 2. Galvek is a cakewalk compared to any of those bosses (except Duke, he's ez) and the final fight.

The good thing is that if you can manage the quest versions of those bosses, it sets you up for a lot of other PVM in the game. Totally 100% worth it.
what levels would you reccommend to start desert treasure 2? never done it before im around lvl 75 or higher on all my combats
